Please read these terms of service together with the policies listed below carefully as these terms govern your access to and use of the Services and constitute a binding legal Agreement between you and 1i5group.
RENTAL POLICY

Fuel Policy
User
The User shall provide the required quantity of fuel needed for each day’s operation which is about 8 hours daily. The Equipment Owner in agreement with the User determines the required daily fuel intake as per equipment depending on the nature and hours of operation

The Pre & Post Inspection process should be completed, and communicated to the 1i5group in order to confirm any overages related to the rental. We also recommend you keep all records on file for your own reference.
All payouts will be processed according to the contractual agreement i.e 30/45/60 working or business days.
Equipment Operations
Each Equipment Owner is required to provide a dedicated Operator/Rigger/Driver/Mate/Motor Boy who will be in charge of daily maintenance and running of the equipment as well as record keeping.
“Crew” i.e Operator/Rigger/Driver/Mate/Motor Boy’s accommodation/Transportation to site of operation
User shall provide accommodation/transportation for the crew members for each off-town operation.
Security of Equipment/Crew on site.
It is the User’s responsibility to provide adequate security for both equipment and operator during the rental duration.
Hour Policy
As a User, you understand and agree to comply with the daily allowable hours (Usually eight hours) set by the Equipment Owner in their listing for the specific piece of equipment. If the USER exceeds the total allowable hours per rental, then the User will be subject to additional charges.
Additional hours and charges therefore will be calculated based on either the hourly rate specified by the Equipment Owner in the listing or the daily rate divided by the allowable hours per day. All hours should be confirmed and referenced and should be communicated to 1i5group, prior to and after the rental.
All time-sheets should be signed periodically i.e., daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly by representatives of User and Equipment Owner
Equipment Owner
The Equipment Owner should record the hours by documenting and signing relevant time-sheets in conjunction with the User/User’s representatives on site We recommend you keep all records on file for your own reference. The Equipment Owner must document and upload photos of their Hour Meter prior to the rental if applicable. If the Equipment Owner does not properly upload photographs of the hour meter, 1i5group is not responsible and cannot charge any hourly overages to the User. If the Renter fails or refuses to document, or to respond to requests to do so, 1i5group reserves the right to treat this as confirmation that the information contained in the inspection centre is accurate and the User may be required to pay any additional expenses and charges.
All payouts will be processed through e-transfer or direct deposits and may take up to 30/45/60 working business days, excluding holidays as indicated in contractual agreement
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Rental Cancellation
In the event of a rental cancellation, the User can expect a refund within up to 15 business days if payment is already committed. Please view our cancellation page for more details.
This Cancellation Policy explains how 1i5group or “We” deals with future cancellations between Equipment Owner and User, both parties have the ability to cancel their reservation once a request to book has been accepted. Please reference our cancelation chart below.
In countries where you receive payment proceeds via Stripe, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Terms, which may be modified from time to time.
Rental modifications
For any reservations where the User requests a rental modification after the 48-hour period has ended, the cancellation policy comes into effect. Please ensure you quote the correct dates before booking. If there are any modifications the User shall contact 1i5group within the 48-hour time frame. The Equipment Owner has full control of also modifying and working with the User to accommodate any changes.
Equipment Owner No-show
If an Equipment Owner does not provide the equipment at the reservation agreed date and time, contact us. via email, phone or texting. We shall follow up with Equipment Owner to ensure timely delivery after a confirmation has been booked. Contact services@1i5group.com right away to provide a 100% full refund within 15 days. Users are not held responsible if the Equipment Owner does not show up.
USER No Show
If the USER needs to cancel the reservation but are having trouble doing so, contact us on services@1i5group.com /or via phone line. If the User does not show up to accept the delivery of the equipment or arrange transportation to pick up the reserved equipment(s), the Equipment Owner has a right to get paid for days already booked or cancel and the User will not receive a refund.
Early Returns
When User want to return a piece of equipment earlier than the agreed reservation time and date. There will be no refunds issued for early returns except Owner the Equipment is notified 48 hours ahead.

Eligibility and Maintenance Policy.
We recommend that you remove all personal property before making the Equipment available for a reservation. In addition, you should expect normal wear and tear on your Equipment and any Attachments, including minor scrapes and dings, in connection with your participation in the Services.
Use of the Equipment
When you book an Equipment through 1i5group.com, you should use the equipment in accordance with its intended use. You may not access an Equipment until the beginning of your reservation period and you should return the Equipment on time and in the correct location or have the Equipment Owner pickup the equipment on time to avoid additional fees. (If owner is not providing a driver or operator as previously agreed). You are required at all times to operate the Equipment safely, and in compliance with all applicable laws, including without limitation to unintended use, horseplay, under the influences of drugs and alcohol, not modify the equipment, and use in compliance with the manufacturer specifications and prohibitions on impaired or distracted operation of the equipment. You are required to wear seat belts during the operation of the Equipment (if applicable). You shouldn’t leave the equipment unlocked or with the keys unsecured (such as in the ignition), and the equipment should be stored securely and safely. Equipment Owners are advised to provide drivers/operators, rigger/mate, motor boy(crew) for equipment.
Condition of the Equipment and Optional Extras
You understand that third parties own the Equipment and Extras offered through the Services. Each Equipment Owner is responsible for complying with all legal requirements (including ensuring the Equipment is registered and insured) and maintaining their Equipment(s) in safe, operational and in good working manner. User expects and acknowledge that operators should be trained in the specific use of the equipment. After the request to book has been completed and communication has been established, the Equipment Owner should share recent photos of their reserved equipment with 1i5group.
After the reserved piece of equipment is returned to the Equipment Owner, The Equipment Owner should share photos of the Equipment to ensure no damages were incurred. Users are advised to complete a visual inspection before beginning use of any Equipment. If a User finds damage in an initial inspection, the User should upload photos of such pre- existing damage prior to the start of the rental to avoid future disputes. If a User finds damage on an initial inspection and fails to report it, the User, 1i5group, any third-party administrators, may assume that the damage occurred during the rental period. If, after the initial inspection, the User believes that the equipment is not safe to operate, please do not use the Equipment; immediately contact the 1i5group team at services@1i5group.com
Incident Reporting
If there is ever an accident or incident during the rental period, User should immediately report any damage to the 1i5group. If an accident, incident, or theft has occurred, please immediately notify emergency services (E.g. Police, Civil Defence or any Law enforcement agency) and also please contact us at: services@1i5group.com. User will need to use all reasonable efforts to secure evidence from any available witnesses and to provide the evidence to 1i5group or third-party claims administrators with a written description of the incident and any other information requested, including identity and insurance information of any parties involved in the incident. User is also required to cooperate in any loss investigation conducted by the Equipment Owner, 1i5group, third party claims administrators, or insurers. After an incident, you may not continue to use the Equipment unless you have the explicit permission of 1i5group management staff. Failure to timely report an incident or cooperate in an investigation may reduce or invalidate your efforts and claims.
Repossession
The Equipment Owner, with 1i5group’s Knowledge, may repossess any Equipment booked through the Services without demand, at the User’s expense, if the Equipment is not returned by the end of the reservation, is found illegally parked, apparently abandoned, or used in violation of applicable law or these Terms.
Lost/Stolen/Missing Equipment
Securing equipment, attachment etc. and personnel attached to rented equipment is sole responsibility of User, at worksite, on the way to worksite and or around accommodation provided by User. If any Equipment go(es) missing, is/are not returned and/or is/are stolen during the reservation period (or any extension period), User are obligated to report these changes to the Police/Law enforcement agencies and 1i5group as soon as possible, and in no event later than twenty-four hours as part of their ongoing obligations related to the use of the Services, separate and apart from any further or other obligations which may be contained in any lease or rental agreement.
Failure to comply with this obligation may lead to 1i5group banning User from using the Services in our sole, absolute and unfettered discretion. Legal action shall also be instituted against the User in other to recover the missing equipment at User’s expense. User hereby acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for reporting any missing or stolen equipment to the relevant authorities/Police. Equipment Owner and User acknowledge and agree that any disputes which relates to lost, missing or stolen equipment shall be between themselves alone and 1i5group shall not be made a party to any such disputes for any reason whatsoever. Complaints relating to lost, missing or stolen equipment may be submitted by Equipment Owner to services @1i5group.com. 1i5group has the right, but not the obligation, to act on any such complaints received in our sole, absolute and unfettered discretion.
The following Sections also apply if you share your Equipment through the Services:
Information Given at Registration
When you sign up on 1i5group.com, you will have specifications of equipment(s) that you want to list for sharing through the Services. Each Equipment should meet the requirements found here. You may only use the Services in connection with Equipment that you own or otherwise have all the necessary rights and permissions to share for compensation.
Equipment Availability
Once a rental is booked, you should make the Equipment available or deliver the Equipment as expected to the User. If you offer the User the option to pick up your Equipment at a specified location, you should supply the location of the Equipment accurately to 1i5group and ensure that the Equipment is available at that location at the beginning of the reservation period.
Listing Expiration
After a User request to book a piece of equipment, the Equipment Owner has only 48 hours to accept and respond to 1i5group. If not, the listing will automatically expire and no longer be available.
Cleaning Fee
USER may be required to pay a cleaning fee for each reservation. A cleaning fee to be determined by both Equipment Owner and USER is applied to each rental on the 1i5group platform. The User pays this fee which is in turn provided to the Equipment Owner to compensate the Owner for providing a clean and safe piece of equipment. All Owners are responsible to clean their equipment prior to a rental.
If a User receives a rented piece of equipment and notices it has not been cleaned for their prior use. User is required to send pictures to 1i5group.com to show the Equipment Owner. 1i5group will validate the dispute and credit accordingly. USER should take responsibility to do so before their rental begins. User cannot claim an unclean piece of equipment after their rental has started.
Transportation
Equipment Owner or User have the option to offer transportation for each listing. There will be an agreement by both Equipment Owner and User on who provides transportation during negotiation and booking process. Transportation can be the responsibility of the Equipment Owner or User. Equipment Owner or User should ensure their transportation decisions follow local, state and federal requirements. Safe operation and use should be followed. Equipment Owner and User hereby acknowledge and agree that 1i5group has no connection to the equipment or any insurance or transportation process thereof.
EQUIPMENT OWNER and USER hereby acknowledge and agree to hold 1i5group harmless with regards to any claims of any kind whatsoever related to transportation and/or insurance
Maintenance
Equipment Owner will be required to regularly check their Equipment for any defects in its operations or safety. Equipment
Owner should promise that, at all times, the Equipment will be in safe, operational, in good mechanical condition, and in full compliance with all applicable inspection and registration requirements. You will only list Equipment(s) with a clean, non-salvaged, non- written off, and non-branded title. You agree to respond to any applicable recall or similar safety notices and to complete any recommended action before allowing your Equipment to be booked. In addition, if 1i5group believes that your Equipment does not conform to reasonable standards, 1i5group may notify you and reserve the right to remove or decline listing your Equipment until its concerns have been resolved. 1i5group may, but does not commit to, undertake efforts to ensure the safety of Equipment booked through the Services. Learn more about our Equipment eligibility requirements here. All pieces of equipment shall have their Inspection/Certification records up to date, any OEM stickers depicting maximum loads and safe operating procedure/information or safety warnings must be visible and available on the equipment at all times.
Incident Reporting
If you believe that a User has caused any significant damage to your Equipment, we strongly advise you to report that damage as soon as you become aware of it and to provide reasonable cooperation in the investigation of the damage so that it can be eligible for disputes as between you (Equipment Owner), the User and your insurance company (if applicable). You must report and record all incidents to your insurance company directly as 1i5group is not responsible for any incidents that may occur at any time or times before, during or after the use of the Services.

Equipment Owner hereby acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for making due inquiry of User through Equipment Owner’s operator/driver/mate/crew on a reasonable basis to confirm the status of rented equipment and for reporting any missing or stolen equipment to the Police/Law enforcement authorities should they so choose. Equipment Owner or User acknowledge and agree that any disputes with respect to lost, missing or stolen equipment shall be between themselves alone and 1i5group shall not be made a party to any such disputes for any reason whatsoever. Complaints relating to lost, missing or stolen equipment may be submitted by User to services@1i5group.com. 1i5group has the right, but not the obligation, to act on any such complaints received in our sole, absolute and unfettered discretion.
Pricing Policy
Transactional Fee
1i5group charges a transactional fee to Equipment Owner and User of 10 (Ten) percent or more of all charges. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, we retain the right to deny additional charge requests by Equipment Owner in our sole, absolute and unfettered discretion.
Rounding Off
1i5group may, in its sole, absolute and unfettered discretion, round up or down amounts that are payable from or to Equipment Owner or User to the nearest whole functional base unit in which the currency is denominated (e.g., to the nearest Naira, Dollar, Euro, Pound, or other supported currency) where permissible under applicable law.
PRIVACY POLICY
1i5group Privacy Policy

1i5group, for and on behalf of itself and its subsidiaries (collectively, “1i5group”, ‘1i5group.com’ “We”, or “Us”) wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use, process and disclose your personal information. This Privacy Policy covers our privacy practices in connection with your access to or use of our websites and applications (“Platform”), including when you communicate with us or other 1i5group users via the Platform (collectively “Services”), or when you otherwise provide us with personal information.
Personal information we collect
We collect three or more categories of personal information – personal information you give us; personal information automatically collected from your use of the Services; and personal information from third party sources.
- Personal information you give us
Account information. When you register for an account with us, we require certain personal information to open your account, such as your name, contact phone number, email address, and password, etc.
Profile information. We may also ask you to provide additional profile information to use certain features of the 1i5group Service which may include street addresses, phone numbers, driver’s license number, BVN, NIM, date of insurance and issuing country and/or province [MP1], profile photos, employer, biography, and date of birth. Certain parts of your profile (like your profile photos, employer, city, and biography) may be part of your public profile page and will be publicly visible to others.
Booking information. We collect information you provide in relation to a reservation such as equipment listing details, equipment serial number, availability dates, reviews and uploaded photos.
Payment information. We collect your financial information (like your digital payment details or bank account or payment numbers) in connection with a potential or actual transaction, which may be processed and stored by one or more third party payment services providers or digital payments companies
Authentication information. In some instances, we may ask you to provide us a photograph and/or other demographic information, such as a scanned copy of a driver’s license, passport, or credit/debit card, social media account information, insurance information, and other forms of identification. Where we request that you withhold certain information (such as obscuring or redacting all but the last four digits of your payment numbers), please do so.
Communications with 1i5group and 1i5group users. When you communicate with 1i5group, whether via email or chat, or use the Services to communicate with other users, we collect information about your communication and any information you choose to provide.
- Personal information we automatically collect when you use or access our Services.
Usage data. We collect information about your interactions with the Platform, such as the pages or other content you view, your searches, bookings you have made and other actions on the Platform.
Location information. When you use certain features on the platform, we may collect information about your approximate location (e.g., city/town associated with your IP address) or when you opt in to use our location sharing feature, the precise location information of your mobile device. Keep in mind that most mobile devices allow you to control or disable the use of location services by any application on your mobile device in the device’s settings menu.
Log data. We automatically collect log information when you use the Platform, even if you have not created a 1i5group account or logged in. That information includes, among other things: details about how you’ve used the Platform, IP address, length of stay, frequency of visits, hardware and software information, unique device identifiers, device event information (e.g., crashes, browser type) and the page you’ve viewed or engaged with before or after you’ve used the Platform.
Reservation information. In addition to the reservation information, you provide to us (as described in the ‘Personal Information you give us’ section above), we also collect transactional information related to your rental on the Platform, including the date and time of your rental, amounts charged and other related rental details.
For a piece of equipment, the information we collect depends on the make, model and year of the equipment but may include, GPS location, fuel level, odometer reading, malfunction indicator lamp (e.g., a check engine light), door state (e.g., locked/unlocked), engine state (e.g., stopped/running) and equipment serial number.
Cookies and similar technology. When you access our Platform, we (including companies we work with) may place small data files on your computer or other device. These data files may be cookies, clear gifs, pixel tags, e-tags, “Flash cookies”, or other local storage provided by your browser or associated applications (collectively “Cookies”).
3. Personal information from third party sources
Third party payment providers. When you make an electronic payment directly to 1i5group or through one of our third-party payment providers, we may receive your personal information from these third parties for the purpose of receiving and processing that payment.
How we use your personal information
We use, store and process your personal information to provide and improve our Services and ensure a secure, safe and trusted experience. For example, we may use your information:
- To provide our Services, including to: Enable you to access and use the 1i5group Services
Provide customer support:
Send you service, support and administrative messages, reminders, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and information requested by you at any telephone number, by placing a voice call or through text (SMS) or email messaging
Enable the processing of transactions and send notices about your transactions
Personalize or customize your user experience
Enable you to communicate with other 1i5group users, including by sending them messages or other information during the booking process
if you provide us or our service providers any information relating to other people in connection with the Services, we may use and store this information to facilitate your referral invitations; send your requests for reviews, for fraud detection and prevention and for any purpose you authorize at the time of collection
Administer referral programs, rewards, surveys, contests, or other promotional activities or sponsored events in which you participate
To improve our Services: We may use the personal information you provide to analyze and improve the Service and to develop new products and services, including by studying our user demographics of the Service.
To send you marketing and promotional communications: We may send you 1i5group-related marketing communications as permitted by law. You will have the ability to opt-out of our marketing and promotional communications as described in the ‘Opt out of marketing’ section below.
To ensure a secure, safe and trusted experience, including to:
Verify your identity or authenticate information provided by you, including during account creation and password reset processes
Resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems
Detect, prevent, and/or remediate fraud, abuse, security incidents or other potentially harmful, prohibited or illegal activities
Detect, prevent or remediate violations of and enforce our Terms of Service and Policies
Manage and protect our information technology infrastructur
Conducting investigations and risk assessments
- Conduct checks against databases and information sources (such as but not limited to public government databases)
- To comply with law: We use your personal information as we believe necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal processes, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities
- To create anonymous data: We may create aggregated, de-identified or other anonymous data from your personal information and other individuals whose personal information we collect. We make personal information into anonymous data by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We may use this anonymous data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve the Service and promote our business.
- With your consent: In some cases, we may specifically ask for your consent to process your personal information. You may direct us to share your information or consent to it as described at the time of sharing.
- We may also use your personal information as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy or as disclosed to you at the time of collection.
How we disclose your personal information
Profiles, listings and other public information
Your public listing page on our Platform will always include some basic information, such as your user ID/name associated with your account, your public profile photo, and for hosts, the city where your equipment is located, your listing description, your calendar availability, transaction related information to allow our community to evaluate your reliability and responsiveness, and reviews/feedback. Your public listing page may also include aggregate demand information (such as number of page views over a period of time) and information about your cancellations. Our Services may also display the approximate geographic pick-up location of your piece of equipment.
Our Services allow your public profile and public listing pages to be included in search engines, in which case your public profile and public listing pages may be indexed by search engines and may be published as search results.
Sharing between Equipment Owners and USERS
1i5group enables Equipment Owners to offer and share their piece of equipment(s) with other individuals. If you agree to a booking through the Services, we may provide your information to the other party in that transaction as reasonably necessary to facilitate the transaction. For example, 1i5group may provide your mobile phone number and/or driver’s license information to facilitate communication. We will provide the address of the piece of equipment and/or the proposed delivery location. 1i5group users engaged in booking with you and may send you text messages (such as to confirm pickup or delivery location or as required).
Service providers
We may share information with vendors and service providers who are engaged by, or working with, us in connection with the processing of payments, operation of our Services and customer support functions and who need access to such information to work with us (including, for example, web hosting, analytics, email delivery, marketing, insurance companies, claims administrators, and customer support services). In some cases, the service provider may be directly collecting the information from you on our behalf

Professional advisors
We may disclose your personal information to professional advisors, such as lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
Business transfers
We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our business or assets, including your personal information, in connection with a business transaction (or potential business transaction) such as a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy or dissolution.
Responding to legal requests, preventing harm, and protecting our rights
As noted above, we may disclose your personal information to courts, law enforcement, governmental or tax authorities, or third parties. We will make such disclosure to the extent we are required or permitted to do so by applicable law or we consider such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations or legal process, to respond to claims asserted against us and for safety purposes described above. We may also disclose your information in response to valid legal requests relating to criminal investigations or alleged or suspected illegal activity or any other activity that may expose 1i5group,you, or any other user to legal liability or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of 1i5group, our employees, our users, or members of the public.
We may also disclose your personal information as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy or as disclosed to you at the time of collection.
Your preferences and choices
Opting out of marketing communications
You may opt out of marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails. If you receive marketing text messages from us, you may opt out of receiving further marketing text message from us by replying STOP to our marketing message or as described in the message.
Correct and update
You can review, correct, update, and edit certain information that has been previously provided to us by you at any time by logging in to your account and reviewing your account settings and profile. You can also access or request a correction of your information by contacting us at services@1i5group.com For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request.
Account closure
If you wish to close your account and request deletion of your personal information, please send an email to services@1i5group.com
NB
Please note that we may be unable to delete information needed to comply with applicable laws, detect or prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, assist with or process claims, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigation, comply with audits and investigation, to enforce our Terms of Service and Policies and take other actions reasonably necessary, permitted, or required by applicable law. There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed.
Targeted online advertising
Please note that we may work with companies that do not participate in the opt out mechanisms that we linked above. In addition, your mobile device settings may provide functionality to limit our, or our partners’, ability to engage in ad tracking or targeted advertising using the Google Advertising ID or Apple ID for Advertising associated with your mobile device.
Choosing not to share your personal information
Where we are required by law to collect your personal information, or where we need your personal information in order to provide the Services to you, if you do not provide this information when requested (or we later delete it at your request), we may not be able to provide you with our Services. We may tell you what information you must provide to receive the Service by designating it as required at the time of collection or through other appropriate means.
We employ a number of technical, physical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, destruction, or alteration while it is under our control. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, and no method of storing information, can be 100% secure. So, we cannot guarantee the security of your transmissions to us and of your information that we store
Important information
This section describes some additional important privacy information related to your use of our Services.
Cross border transfer
The Services are controlled and operated by us from Base. Your information may be used, stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. These locations may be outside of your state, or country of residence, and may have different and/or less protective data protection rules than those of your state, province, or country. As a result, this information may be subject to access requests from governments, courts, regulatory agencies, security authorities or law enforcement in those jurisdictions according to the laws in those jurisdictions.
Sensitive information

Yes, you can, when you use 1i5group you can initiate booking any piece of equipment or attachment at the click of a button. We’ve innovated a way to service you in the most conveniently way possible.
Does 1i5group offer insurance?
No, 1i5group does not offer insurance. The Equipment owner or USER are responsible for their own insurance. Speak to insurance broker today to obtain a rental policy.
How much does it cost to list equipment?
It’s free to list your equipment with 1i5group. Please click on “List Equipment” on our website and fill the form, for more information about listing your equipment, kindly send us a chat on WhatsApp or send a mail to services@1i5group.com. We’re happy to have you.
Does 1i5group charge tax?
Keep in mind that 1i5group does not collect tax from customers, so it’s up to you to add tax to the rate you charge for your equipment and remit the tax to the government.
What kind of payments are accepted?
Bank transfers, cheques and direct deposits are accepted for now, while we integrate other secured payment methods in the nearest future.
What if I can’t find what I need on the website?
If you can’t find the desired piece of equipment, please contact us as we’re expanding our inventory and equipment categories.
Can I offer transportation with my rental?
We know Equipment Owners and Users have their means of transporting. 1i5group allows the Equipment owners to offer transportation for each rental and negotiate the rates of transportation with the USERS.
